Enneagram: Nine paths to success...

Nine challenges for growth!

A universal system for understanding and power

From corporations to churches, from Armenia to America, insights into human behavior, performance, and aspirations are being revolutionized by a powerful system called the Enneagram (from the Greek for 'nine' and 'picture'). This page and linked articles are a temporary repository for an expanding collection of Enneagram information at WellPath Resources, LLC.

Preliminary Enneagram Self-typing Test (P.E.S.T.)

Here's a quick way to guesstimate which of the nine Enneagram points might best fit you. Just click here to download a 80kb universal portable document format (pdf) file. After scoring this preliminary test you’ll have a good idea where to start reading more about your ‘type’ in the nine summary descriptions (see next paragraph).

Summaries for all nine types

You are invited to download a two-page pdf file with at-a-glance paragraphs for each of the nine enneagram points. Click here download the 80kb file in universal portable document format, viewable by the free Adobe Acrobat Reader and by the Apple Mac's pre-installed Preview app.

Learn more about your Enneagram type:

Get a snapshot of the 9 types, their strengths, possible weaknesses, and well-known individuals that probably express each point. Just click here to download a pdf file. It prints in landscape orientation as a 8.5"x11" color page.

Enneagram and Myers-Briggs Types - .pdf file showing Enneagram points with their most common Myers-Briggs types (this link takes you to a 15K .pdf file that may be downloaded and opened in Adobe's free Acrobat Reader). It is printable to a 8.5"x11" color page.

Off-line Reading

Best books for starting to read about the Enneagram and its insights into relationships and personal development, I suggest two books as most engaging and rewarding:

  • Are You My Type? Am I Yours? is a deceptively simple little volume. Made lively with clever illustrations and catchy sections, it is written by a couple insightful therapists, Elizabeth Wagele and Renee Baron. It's the kind of title you can open up while sitting around the kitchen table with family and find everybody grabbing for it and exchanging insights on their enneagram foibles.
  • Nine Ways of Working by Michael Goldberg is one of the most comprehensive looks into what makes each of the nine Enneagram types tick. Excellent advice on how to work more effectively with people of different types. See my Amazon review
